The Mission of Lennar Charitable Housing Foundation (LCHF) is…   to end homelessness by investing in shelter and supportive services benefiting vulnerable families and individuals.

Solano Napa Habitat for Humanity

Solano Napa Habitat for Humanity (SNHFH) was founded, by a grass-roots group of Solano County residents, in 1991 as a non-profit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry. SNHFH is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity® International, Inc., based in Americus, Georgia. Habitat for Humanity was established with a goal of eliminating poverty housing around the globe. From its inception it has sponsored the creation of over sixteen hundred affiliates nationwide, while expanding to over seventy nations.

Over the last few months, as a direct result of Lennar Charitable Housing Foundation's (LCHF) generous donation, SNHFH has completed duet houses at 575 and 579 Rocky Hill Road in Vacaville, they are poised to begin construction in July of a single family home at 1941 Manor Place in Fairfield, and, they are in the design/planning phase for three ownership housing units and a "home" (i.e. office/warehouse) for their Habitat affiliate on a lot they own in downtown Fairfield.

"Our partnership with LCHF has enabled us to actively advance our mission...and, in doing so, Habitat is able to do so much more than just build houses," reported Linda Zablotny-Hurst, Executive Director of Solano-Napa Habitat for Humanity.

Solano Napa Habitat for Humanity has the opportunity to become a significant participant in providing affordable housing in its service areas. With the support of people throughout the region, it allows them to have a vision and a cooperative spirit to accomplish great things.
