House of Ruth

Based on 30 years of assisting women who are homeless, House of Ruth has learned that homelessness cannot be addressed by housing alone. That is why they have worked so hard to build a comprehensive array of services that make our 10 residences much more than just a place to live. The women and children bring with them their courage and willingness to grow and change.

Lennar Charitable Housing Foundation awarded a grant to House of Ruth in support of its Residential Programs. These programs include the Emergency Shelter and Transitional Living Programs, both of which provide battered women and their children a safe and secure environment in which to begin building lives free of violence and abuse. House of Ruth is "profoundly grateful to Lennar Charitable Housing Foundation for contributing so significantly to the financial success of this fiscal year, allowing them to reach greater numbers of women and children while engaging their mission to provide shelter, counseling and case management services for families victimized by domestic violence."
 

More than 500 women and children. That is quite a number to listen to, support and assist. With the help of Lennar Charitable Housing Foundation, House of Ruth builds connections with many people – every woman, every child, every member of a family – and has the ability help them adopt sweeping changes in their lives.
