The Mission of Lennar Charitable Housing Foundation (LCHF) is…   to end homelessness by investing in shelter and supportive services benefiting vulnerable families and individuals.

HomeAid Los Angeles/Ventura

Established in 1989, HomeAid Los Angeles/ Ventura is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. The Building Industry Association of Los Angeles/ Ventura adopted the mission to build or renovate transitional housing for service providers that offer the necessary life-changing support and skills to help temporarily homeless families and individuals regain their self-sufficiency; such programs include education, job skill training, physical and emotional support. The HomeAid program makes a significant and positive impact on the communities where we live.

Today there are over 95,000 temporarily homeless on any given night in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. A family that has lost their safety net; a mother trying to find a safe haven from domestic violence; a child removed from an abusive home...these are the temporarily homeless.

The true power of HomeAid's housing development program lies in its core concept of working in conjunction with
partners and volunteers. In combination with businesses, builders, community leaders, service providers and officials, HomeAid Los Angeles/ Ventura has successfully completed 19 housing development projects, most recently dedicating Girls & Boys Town in East Rancho Dominguez.
