Community Resource Center (CRC) is proud to celebrate 25 years of
providing comprehensive social services to the North County Coastal
communities. They are committed to breaking the cycle of family
violence and reducing hunger and homelessness in the community.
A major service component is their Domestic Violence program - Libre
- which encompasses operation of a domestic violence emergency
shelter and transitional housing units, case management and
counseling, as well as parenting and other life skills support
groups and classes.
Their new emergency Shelter -- Carol's House --
can safely harbor up to 24 women and children.... while the four
transitional housing units are for 12-18 month.
CRC’s general services include assistance to the hungry and homeless
through their bread room and food pantry, working with the
Interfaith Shelter Network, case management, and counseling. Based
in Encinitas, their service area reaches south to Del Mar and Solana
Beach, east to San Marcos, and north through Carlsbad.
